If You Wish to Perform or Record these Works:

The music in this Catalogue is copyrighted work. It is not in the public domain. We always are delighted when people want to perform or record this music. However, we ask that you help us out by playing your part in respecting the rights associated with these works and following the simple steps outlined below (or click the appropriate link in the navigation under Contact).

If you will be PERFORMING any of this music, please submit a Performance Notification Form for each performance. This involves completing a simple, straightforward form that can be submitted online or by postal mailing to us a completed copy of the Performance Notification Form included with each piece of music. In the case of most recitals, this is all that is needed and the process is FREE. We then will submit notice of your performance to the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), the performing rights agency of which we are members,so we can be credited for this performance. This will not cost you, the performer! Furthermore, in appreciation of your submitting the Performance Notification Form, we will post your performance for FREE in the Events Calendar section of this website, if you select this option on the form. Many performers choose to do this and get worldwide exposure for their event!

If you wish to make a RECORDING of any of the music, you can easily obtain a mechanical license to do so. The Harry Fox Agency issues our mechanical licenses. You can contact them directly at HFA where they have easy, online ways to do this. Or e-mail us for more information. It is a straightforward and really inexpensive procedure which offers recognition and a small compensation to the composer for his creative effort.
